CYCLE FOR AWARENESS was created in 2019 after the twin sister of one of our cycle leaders was diagnosed with breast cancer. Charla was always one of the biggest supporters when it came to anything cycling related. We had to find a way to encourage her while she was going through chemotherapy treatments. This ride gave her hope. 


When people are facing challenges, it’s helpful for them to be able to find support from others who understand exactly what they’re going through. We pedal to support the Komen Foundation with finding a cure, so that no one ever have to hear the words "breast cancer".
